EXOTIC Sapele is almost always 100 percent heartwood. The heartwood is dark reddish brown with a purplish cast. The grain texture rather fine, similar to mahogany. The interlocked grain on quartersawn surfaces produces the ribbon like pattern. There is a very slight aroma at times which smells a bit like cedar. IT GIVE A GOLDEN NATURAL LASE PATTERN
This requinto are made individualy and the wood strains may vary, the same with the concha de abulon, on cosmetic they are not 100% perfect , it might be a light inferfection but sound is good, I can send you pictures of the one current to send.
